First Step: Greetings

How are you? = Apa kabar?

To learn Indonesian we have to be able to read Indonesian word.
For example "belajar" (to learn) is read as “be - la – jar”.

Now, this is the basic on how to introduce your self

Saya (I): Halo, Apa kabar? (Hello, How are you?)
Anda (You): Baik. Kabar Anda? (Good. And you?)

Saya: Baik. Senang bertemu Anda. (Good. Nice to meet you)
Siapa nama Anda? (What’s your name?)

Anda: Nama saya John. (My name’s John)

Saya: Senang bertemu Anda John. Nama saya Sigit. (Nice to meet you John. My name’s Sigit)

Anda: Senang bertemu Anda. (Nice to meet you).
